Ajji’s “MetRice” made me many friends in school. Her unique Metrice recipe and my friendship dabba was ready

Ingredients

Bengal gram, Black gram, Rice, Wheat, Asafoetida, Turmeric, Cumin seeds, Mustard seeds, Red chilli

How To Use

• Wash 200 Gm of basmati rice thoroughly.
• Add 2 cups of water and sticks of washed & cut lemongrass.
• Add 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and 2 tsp of KPra metkut powder, salt to taste and cook the rice
• Finely cut carrot, french beans and par boil the vegetables.
• Heat a deep pan, add 2 tsp olive oil or butter, saute carrot and french beans for a minute, add 1/2 tsp KPra Metkut and pinch of salt.
• Add rice, Mix well and serve hot.
